The Institute views recent events in Ukraine with shock and horror. Our thoughts are with all affected and especially with our academic colleagues and ISBE members who may be concerned about friends and loved ones caught up in the conflict. We also wish to stand in solidarity with academics, practitioners, scholars, and students working in the field of entrepreneurship and small business whose work or studies have been disrupted, either directly by the conflict or because of the need to support those who find themselves as refugees from war. We join with those around the world and across higher education and research communities who have expressed their profound revulsion and sorrow at the unprovoked aggression of one nation against another. We join the many voices across the globe calling for a cessation of the conflict and the restoration of peace for the people of Ukraine.

For ISBE members in the UK, if you have not already done so, we invite you to consider making a generous donation to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal at https://www.dec.org.uk .
