Emerald is publishing a special issue of the International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship (IJGE) in 2019 to commemorate the work of Julie Weeks.
Julie Weeks was a leading advocate for female entrepreneurship in the US and internationally. She worked in market research before being called by The White House to work for the Small Business Administration as the Deputy Chief Counsel for Statistics and Research. She is known for her work with the Center for Women’s Business Research, the National Women’s Business Council in Washington DC and Womenable. Julie died on February 18, 2017, aged 59.
To commemorate Julie’s life and achievements, Emerald is publishing a special issue of the International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship (IJGE) in 2019.
