Main Purpose of Job:
To help develop and implement a strategy to position IPSE as the primary source of information and research on freelancing and self-employment in the UK.
To design, conduct and analyse quantitative and qualitative research projects on independent professionals and the self-employed that guide and shape IPSE’s core policy areas, communication campaigns and commercial objectives.
To help develop and oversee strategic direction of the CRSE, IPSE’s think tank on self-employment and modern work. To work towards making the CRSE independent and achieve global status.
The Deputy Head of Research works closely with the research, policy, commercial and press teams to apply strategic and analytical thinking, project management and a commercial awareness to projects from initial design through to reporting and dissemination of findings.
