25th EBES Conference, May 23-25, 2018, Berlin, Germany
On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the 25th EBES Conference, in Berlin, Germany, which will bring together many distinguished researchers from all over the world. Participants will find opportunities for presenting new research, exchanging information, and discussing current issues. We are inviting abstracts to a specific stream on entrepreneurship education.
Although the conference focuses on Europe and Asia, papers with other national or international perspectives will be welcomed. There will be opportunities for publication in the EBES journals (Eurasian Business Review and Eurasian Economic Review) and EBES Proceedings (no submission and publication fees). EBES journals (EABR and EAER) and Proceedings are published by Springer. Both journals (EABR and EAER) are indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (Web of Science) and Scopus.
Please see the link to the Conference below.
Call for Papers – Entrepreneurship Education
We are inviting you to submit abstracts and papers to a stream on Entrepreneurship Education. Abstracts should not be more than 400 words and should be submitted by 28th February, 2018 and full papers (optional) should be submitted by 20th April, 2018. Abstracts should be submitted on line using the conference web link (see above).
The recognition of the important role entrepreneurs play in stimulating and driving a successful economy has been evident in the UK for many years with various Government incentives and initiatives to stimulate this section of our economy. The history of entrepreneurship in different cultural contexts is very different. Moves towards entrepreneurial behaviour and practice in developing economies are often followed d by a move towards providing entrepreneurial education. As a result Universities are finding ways to deliver teaching to nascent entrepreneurs as well as providing “entrepreneurial education” to students who may not follow this as a career route but want to develop these kinds of skills.
Since this is a newly developing area for many countries we do not ask for all papers to follow the traditional style for academic presentations. We also welcome more practice based papers that deliver insights into particular country contexts for such teaching. We hope that authors will be able to tell us about their creative and original teaching methods in a developmental way, rather than producing complete and traditional papers.
As this is a new development for this conference, we welcome abstracts on broad topics including but not limited to:
- Good practices in entrepreneurship education
- Differences between undergraduate and Master’s entrepreneurship education
- Understanding the cultural context for entrepreneurship education
- Developing entrepreneurship education in HEI
- Entrepreneurship education and cultural context
- Creativity in entrepreneurship education
- Gender and entrepreneurship education
- Value creation and innovation in entrepreneurship education
- Evaluating and exploring different entrepreneurship education methods
- Capacity building in entrepreneurship education
