About Anglia Ruskin University:
Anglia Ruskin is a vibrant workplace and our University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious plans for the future and we are determined that our students and staff will realise their full potential. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England.
About the role:
The Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MET) is centred on personal and professional research-based learning and teaching, leading in customer-oriented aspects of responsible business. We’re looking to add to this research-based learning community a number of talented and committed lecturers, senior lecturers, and expert practitioners as teaching and business fellows to help us achieve our goals in terms of externally funded REFable research, innovative learning and teaching practices and value-adding consultancy assignments successfully completed.
The Services Research Cluster (SRC) is a new research venture in MET that will enable us to focus on and integrate our talents in publishing globally excellent research, to gain research council funding and generate income from disseminating knowledge we create via consultancy projects. The cluster will support early career researchers through to globally networked academics to achieve success in producing meaningful, rigorous research outputs that advance the science of services, whilst addressing current managerial challenges. Interdisciplinary research is both needed and encouraged.
We’re keen to build our innovative teaching and our excellent applied research capacities; to focus on entrepreneurship and innovation in the region. We welcome those who would like to join the direction we have set and those with ambition to shape innovation and the user/customer voice into the core of who we are becoming as a research-based learning community.
