Studying, supporting or growing small businesses? Help us to understand how small firm owners in Ireland and the UK approach digitization via this survey developed by researchers from the Innovation Value Institute (IVI) at Maynooth University, Ireland, Ulster University, N. Ireland and Anglia Ruskin University.
Digitization is the result of digital transformation efforts, as “organizational change through the use of digital technologies and business models to improve performance” (Wade, 2014, p.3). The recent UK Industrial Strategy identifies the importance of digitization for competitive advantage and economic growth but what are the realities for small firms? This survey builds on previous work with large corporations to develop an evidence base derived from the perspectives of those studying, supporting, starting and growing small businesses.
