Breda O’Dwyer, BBS, MBA, NCEE Fellow in Entrepreneurship, Harvard University Certificate in Problem Based Learning, studying for a PhD at the University of Ulster on the entrepreneurial educator. She is a Senior Lecturer and leads the Centre of Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development at the IT Tralee. The centre fosters a culture of innovation, design and transformation in the Kerry Entrepreneurial Ecosystem with a focus on Innovative Learning Practices & Research. Breda has designed & implemented multiple entrepreneurship programmes across the learning continuum from primary to post graduate level, including the Award Winning Design4SMEs postgraduate innovation programme. A member of national and international expert panels tasked with promoting entrepreneurial excellence. She is an external examiner and visiting lecturer to national and International Higher Education Institutes. A member of the Editorial Review Board for Taste of Science, judging panel for the global Undergraduate Awards, an external reviewer of papers for Elsevier, ISBE, IMTA – Irish Management and Teaching Academy. She sits on many boards in the public and private sector and is also a director of the family business which operates in the retail and engineering sectors.
