ISBE is delighted to have launched its new logo and website at www.isbe.org.uk. We have aimed to make the new site much more user-friendly, intuitive and exciting. Gone are the boring lists of news and events, the overload of information on the homepage and the cluttered menus. Over the coming weeks, we will be launching our online forums, based around the activities of our Special Interest Groups; we will be contacting all current members with details of how to access exclusive content; and we are in the process of indexing our past conference papers, meaning that they’re a much richer resource for our members.
Our events registration and online submission systems are also now incorporated into the website to provide a one-stop shop for our users.
For our new logo, the brief to our designers at Nicky Stephen Marketing Ltd was something modern that puts the name of ISBE firmly at the centre where the worlds of research, policy and practice meet. We love the result!
Alongside these new exciting developments for ISBE, your Board have been very busy over the past few months discussing and working up a longer-term strategy and operational plan for the Institute. Recommendations will be discussed at our June board meeting and will of course be shared with our membership and networks for comment.
For now, please take a look around the new website and give us your feedback. We are always very pleased to hear from you!
