The Aldridge Institute for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship is a partnership between Bristol Business School and the Aldridge Foundation with the vision to be internationally renowned for research and initiatives that change the futures of young people, shapes the future of education policy and enables a more successful economy. As a newly launched Institute this is an exciting time to join as you will have the opportunity to help scope and create the strategy that will deliver our ambitious vision.

Focussing on enterprise and entrepreneurship, the Associate Professor will develop, enable and deliver research activity that underpins the ambitions of the Institute. Working with the Director the role holder will lead and coordinate research activity, manage research collaborations with other institutions/external bodies, lead bids for research funding and write publications of an internationally recognised standard. They will deliver world-class research with impact.  We are particularly interested in outstanding researchers with expertise in enterprise and entrepreneurship and a reputation for research with outputs likely to achieve high REF ratings. 

The Aldridge Institute will be at the forefront of influencing and lobbying for enterprise skills to be given greater prominence in education policy and we are looking to recruit an outstanding and entrepreneurial Associate Professor to play a key role in supporting this.
