Develop your academic brand and network through this interactive and supportive session within the ISBE GEN community.
This online event will take place via Zoom. Please note, this event will immediately precede the ISBE GEN Annual General Meeting (14.30-15.00). All attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend the AGM which will continue in the same Zoom meeting link.
During this interactive session there will be two presentations to support your knowledge, understanding and skills development of academic network building specific to the entrepreneurship community.
The first presentation from Dr Chris Carter, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Haydn Green Institute, Nottingham University Business School, will share hints, tips and considerations when building your academic brand.
The second presentation comes from Professor Susan Marlow, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Haydn Green Institute, Nottingham University Business School, which is focused on networking online, offline and at conferences.
In the session you will have the opportunity to share your own experiences of networking, practise networking and identify what new practices you will commit to trying to develop your academic brand and/or expand your network.
