Call for Chapters: Enterprising Africa: Transformation through Entrepreneurship

Dr Stephen Dobson, University of Leeds
Professor Paul Jones, University of Swansea
Professor Daniel Agyapong, University of Cape Coast
Professor Gideon Maas, Coventry University

This book aims to explore the future opportunities, challenges, growth areas and key themes which will shape entrepreneurship over the next decade in the African continent. The book explores entrepreneurship as an enabler for socio-economic growth and development in Africa, especially in the context of youth unemployment and increasing youth population for which the traditional, and indeed emerging, industrial sectors will not be able to produce sufficient jobs to meet demand. Entrepreneurship can be the key to unlock resilient growth in the continent but only if it is driven both by socially productive and growth oriented new businesses.
