Call for Papers: Cryptocurrency Research Conference, 24 May 2018, Anglia Ruskin University


On behalf of the Centre for Financial Research (CFR) in the Business School at Anglia Ruskin University, we are delighted to invite you to the Cryptocurrency Research Conference, the first its kind in the UK  taking place on Thursday 24 May 2018 from 9am to 5pm at Young Street, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.

The conference will provide a forum for presenting new research findings, and all are welcome to attend who have a strong interest in discussing the future direction of cryptocurrency research and its impact on the economy and society. The main theme is ‘Investigating the Macro-financial aspects of Cryptocurrencies’ and we’re excited to be joined by keynote speakers, Professor Brian Lucey PhD (Trinity College Dublin and Trinity Business School, Ireland) and Dr Shaen Corbet (Dublin City University Business School).

Topics include, but are not limited to: Asset Price Bubble, Contagion, Interconnectedness, Volatility, Environmental Issues in Cryptocurrency, Legal Issues in Cryptocurrency, Financial Regulations, Blockchain, Price Clustering, Safe Haven, Effect of Announcements.

We welcome research paper submissions, including those from PhD researchers. Please find attached the Call for Papers. Research paper submission is open until 15 March 2018.
