ISBE member seeks to break taboo about startup founders dying unexpectedly

After working with Boards whose chief exec had died unexpectedly, and founders who’ve been given terminal diagnosis, Adrian Ashton is keen to encourage more open conversations around succession in start-ups – this is not only enforced by research that shows a lack of planning for this contingency stymies a business’ future performance, but also to help ensure the founders vision directly informs their legacy on the businesses that they have invested their lives in.
