The successful applicant will work as part of the Students’ Union team and with the support of the BEIU team to develop and run activities that encourage and develop enterprise and entrepreneurship among the students and staff at the University of Buckingham. These activities include, but are not limited to, events, promotional activities – including managing promotional content for events and activities by developing promotional channels, speaker opportunities, competitions, and innovative methods that encourage enterprise in students and staff.
The Enterprise Officer will oversee all aspects of any non-academic enterprise activities and coordinate with the BEIU team and the Students’ Union to meet the best possible outcomes for these activities. In addition to working with BEIU and SU staff the Enterprise officer will also support non-academic student projects to help create an entrepreneurial ecosystem amongst Buckingham students and staff.
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in event planning and executing those events professionally. You should have an appreciation of the UK’s entrepreneurial ecosystem & the context of entrepreneurship education. You should be able to produce digital content in a variety of mediums to suit a wide audience. Finally you will be an enthusiastic networker, activator and team player who is able to operate independently and proactively.
