An exclusive opportunity to hear from some of the most experienced experts in the field of entrepreneurship and small business, this hour-long webinar brings together ISBE Fellows to consider what the ‘new norm’ means for the field.

Since the advent of Covid-19 and the debate about its impact, there has been continual reference to the ‘new norm’. It is used as a positive (e.g. developing new ways of operating) and as excuses (e.g. reason for failure). As some of the implications for entrepreneurship start to become clearer, the time is right to reflect on what this ‘new norm’ is and how that terms can be unpacked and investigated.

In this hour-long webinar for ISBE members, Chair and ISBE Past President, Professor Gideon Maas, will be joined by three of the ISBE Fellows, Professors Colette Henry, Pauric McGowan and Andy Penaluna to discuss some of the following points, and to take questions from delegates:

  • What is the new norm everyone is talking about?
  • Will there be more “new norms” in future?
  • What is the impact of the new norm on entrepreneurs and supporting entrepreneurs?
  • How should entrepreneurs be supported to manage the new norm successfully?

Questions can be submitted during registration or asked during the webinar.

This webinar is free to ECSB and ISBE members, but prior registration IS required at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_oxA4ywXWSRq3_DaVipAmkg

Non-members can join the webinar at a fee of £10.
