  • ISBE Publication Webinar Workshop
     17th February 2021
     2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Facilitators: Professor Susan Marlow & Dr Lorna Treanor

ISBE will facilitate a publication webinar to support our early career researchers and doctoral students seeking to improve their writing skills and publication profile. This has become a particularly pressing issue given more onerous and time consuming teaching obligations at present so, the sharing of experience and advice on how to improve the chances of publication success is currently even more important. During this event, experienced academics with strong publication records and editorial experience in journals (such as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, International Small Business Journal and the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research) will form a plenary panel to discuss various aspects of the writing, submission and publication process, followed by a Q&A session. Following on from this open debate, there will be a number of breakout sessions where a maximum of three participants will work together with a presenter who will review pre-submitted papers from the group and offer feedback and guidance regarding how to develop the work with a view towards journal submission.

The first hour of the webinar (2pm until 3pm) is open to all at a total cost of £35 for ISBE members and £50 for non-members. Registration for the subsequent breakout sessions (3.05pm until 4.30pm) will be limited to 30 participants to ensure meaningful debate and feedback in small groups at a total cost of £75 for ISBE members and £100 for non-members (this includes access to the first hour of the webinar).

Papers must be submitted by Monday, January 25th 2021 to . Facilitators include: Professor Susan Marlow, Professor Claire Leitch, Professor Paul Jones, Professor Dilani Jayawarna, Professor Monder Ram, Professor John Kitching, Professor Frank Lasch, Dr Robert Wapshott, Dr Lorna Treanor.
