Virtually ISBE: Setting an Agenda to shore up the Creative Industries

The session will be split into two halves. First a panel discussion were panellists will represent three different perspectives: Creative education, Entrepreneurship Education and Creative Industries. The aim of the event is to explore and provide a platform for our community of researchers, educators and policy makers to:

Consider the future health of the creative sector, what are the main challenges within schools (primary and secondary) in terms of creative discipline education? how did we get here? and how to overcome these challenges?

In particular we look to explore the link, opportunities and overlap between entrepreneurship education and creative discipline education within schools. The session will consider what could we do, as a community, (e.g. research, publications, practical workshops, something else) to move this agenda forward?

The panel discussion will see each panellist present for 10-15 minutes followed by a more interactive chaired discussion and Q&A and opportunity for the wider audience/community to contribute their perspectives.
