In this free 60-minute webinar, hosted by Kate Cook from The Case Centre and led by Sandra Pereira from Warwick Business School, you will be introduced to the Team-Based Learning and Evaluation (TaBLE) method.

This method combines group learning with case teaching to increase student motivation to prepare, attend and engage; to create individual accountability for group goals; to foster critical thinking and creative debate; and to make theory-practice links more visible. Having been extensively trialled, data suggests that the TaBLE method increases student attendance, preparation, and engagement, also contributing to improved performance in assessments.

Participants will:

  • learn the key principals that allow increasing the effectiveness of using cases in the context of team learning
  • gain insights into the holistic nature of the method, and which stages go from pre-class to post-class engagement
  • become aware of the specific ways in which classes can be structured to command higher levels of engagement and learning
  • discover a set of templates and materials that can immediately support the implementation of the TaBLE method
  • be ready to fully design teaching interactions based on the TaBLE method.

The webinar will include a Q&A session.
