ISBE 2018: Conference Tracks

Registration for ISBE 2018 is now open!

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in Belfast last year, ISBE’s annual conference has established itself as one of the most important events in the small business and entrepreneurship calendar, attracting delegates from academic research and teaching, and an ever-growing number from business practice, policy and support.

As we look forward to our 41st conference, we are particularly delighted to be moving to Birmingham, building on the great success of our Belfast conference last year and Paris in 2016. We anticipate over 400 attendees from more than 40 countries, and offer over 250 presentations of the highest quality new entrepreneurial research on a diverse range of topics along with high profile keynote speakers, stimulating panel debates and a number of specialist workshops.

We are also excited to be launching a new track in freelancing, solo self-employment and gig economy working, together with our partner IPSE, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self Employed.

Given the ever-increasing need for our community to come together to address today’s changing environment, this year’s theme is Research, policy and practice: Collaboration in a disparate world. Please find the full call for papers here.

Papers will be presented in the following parallel sessions:
