David Storey OBE, Professor of Enterprise at University of Sussex Business School, has been appointed by the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Committee as one of four specialist advisors on post-pandemic growth in the UK.
The Post-Pandemic Economic Growth inquiry will evaluate the Government’s current industrial strategy and whether it stimulates a productive, inclusive and sustainable economy – covering investment, jobs, skills and exports.
The inquiry will also examine ways to secure the UK’s economic recovery from the impact that coronavirus has had, and explore measures needed to encourage economically and environmentally sustainable growth.
