ISBE member gains further prestigious title in recognition of their support to business

ISBE member Adrian Ashton, who in 2021 was feted with an honorary doctorate in recognition of their support to businesses, has now also become a Lord.

The quality and impact of the support to enterprises of all types that Adrian Ashton has been offering for over 20 years is usually recognised by their occasional receipt of industry awards. However in 2021, a university felt that his work went beyond the usual criteria of being deemed worthy of recognition through a business award, and granted him an honorary doctorate (see profile piece in previous ISBE newsletter).

This recognition and commendation was extended at the end of 2021, when he was made a Lord in a joint ceremony with his wife, Zoe Ashton, who became a Lady at the same time, in recognition of her contributions to healthcare teaching in NHS Trusts, and both further and higher education in academic college settings.
