As part of the team who developed and delivered Anglia Ruskin University’s acclaimed ‘3rd sector futures’ programme, ISBE member Adrian Ashton has received the Vice Chancellor’s award for excellence in education collaboration.

The programme supports leaders and managers of charities and social enterprises to further their understanding and skills across a range of disciplines. The award recognised how learners in the course were encouraged and supported to look at their learning as integrated, rather than stand alone units, in order to gain the best value from them; it also highlighted how course content is reflected on with learners to adapt it to changes in both their needs and circumstances, and also those taking place in the wider context and landscape in which such organisations operate.
