Launch of Cases on Entrepreneurship and Diversity

The book, Cases on Entrepreneurship and Diversity (Edward Elgar Publishing) edited by Dr Spinder Dhaliwal,  was launched at Westminster Business School on 29 January. Professor David Rae gave the keynote presentation based on his chapter which featured in the book and was co-written by Sudesh Sangray, Why do intercultural creativity and entrepreneurship matter? How can they help in place making? Ideas and examples from Leicester and other places.

Other authors including Debra Blisson and Knut Lange spoke about their chapters to an international audience both online and in person.

Dr Spinder Dhaliwal spoke passionately about the importance of diversity in her life, and her challenges growing up in a small family business. This is a timely book and an important book, highlighting the challenges entrepreneurs face internationally, where normal business challenges are even more difficult for some. The book features case studies from around the world and provide an excellent teaching guide for students using real life examples.
