An afternoon exploring gender issues in entrepreneurship, regional to global.
Dr Nicola Patterson and Dinah Bennett OBE will share key findings from GENE to date and future plans for the development of this collaborative space. Professor Julia Rouse will provide an introduction to a series of State of the Art Reviews on women’s entrepreneurship commissioned by the Enterprise Research
Centre at Warwick and Aston, funded by the ESRC and BEIS. A light lunch will be provided and an opportunity to network.
GENE brings together researchers, policy makers and practitioners to advance issues of gender and other categories of social difference in entrepreneurship in the North East of England.
