The new BEIS Business Basics Fund was launched on the 26th June by the Minister for Small Business, Andrew Griffiths MP.
The Fund will test innovative ways of encouraging small, medium enterprises (SMEs) to take up existing technology and business practices that we know can improve productivity. The fund will contribute to building evidence to identify the most effective ways to encouraging SMEs to adopt existing technologies and management practices.
A share of £2 million is available in this first call to develop ideas or run trials. To find out more and apply by 4 September, please go to the application pages on the Innovation Funding Service website:
- Trial Projects – you can get up to £400,000 funding
- Proof of Concept Projects – you can get up to £60,000 funding
