New guide on social enterprise legal forms published by ISBE member 

ISBE member commissioned by leading social enterprise support body to draft a new guide to help people better ‘navigate the maze’ of legal structures and forms

In recognition of his insight and expertise around legal forms and governance for social enterprises, SELNET – a leading social enterprise support agency, commissioned ISBE member Adrian Ashton to draft a new resource on the subject.  This newly published guide ‘Navigating the maze’, is aimed at start-up social enterprises to help them better understand and appreciate the issues relating to incorporating a legal form for their business, and to support them build the confidence and knowledge is approaching and selecting what may be the most appropriate for them.  It also serves as a resource for existing social enterprises, to support them with periodic governance reviews to help assure that their current form remains ‘fit for purpose’ in light of changing operating environments.  The guide is publicly available via SELNET’s website.
