Professor Andrew Henley appointed ISBE Deputy President
Following a vote amongst the ISBE trustees, Andrew Henley of Cardiff Business School has been appointed as Deputy President of ISBE. Professor Henley will be well-known to members as a long-time supporter of the annual conference, winning the award for Best Conference Paper at the 40th anniversary conference in Belfast in 2017. He has served as a board member since 2017, and is also Chair of the next annual conference in Cardiff.
Outside of the Institute, Professor Henley is currently involved in three ESRC/UKRI-funded projects relating to the UK productivity gap and to understanding the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was elected to Fellowship of the Learned Society of Wales in 2017.
Congratulations to Andy on his new role, and we look forward to our new collaboration.
