ISBE members will be saddened to hear the news that ISBE Fellow Professor David J Storey OBE has passed away. David was Emeritus Professor at the University of Sussex and previously the founder and director of the Centre for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises at Warwick Business School. David was an outstanding scholar of the highest international standing in our field, and his contribution to the development of public policy in support of small business in the UK was invaluable. David was a regular participant at our conferences, and was kind, supportive and generous at all times to colleagues and fellow researchers, appreciative of his feedback and wisdom. He will be sadly missed, and his death is a huge loss to the entrepreneurship and small business research and policy community.
