Salary: £53,708 per annum (Incl. LWA)
Would you like to lead an award-winning team supporting students in developing start-ups, self-employment and entrepreneurial skills?  The University of Westminster has ambitious plans to grow its student enterprise activity, building on the previous successes of our Creative Enterprise Centre. We are seeking a new colleague to lead our award-winning team to support our students to develop start-ups, professional self-employment careers, and entrepreneurial skills.
Since its inception in 2017 the Creative Enterprise Centre has supported over 1000 students and graduates to engage with enterprise and entrepreneurial experiences. This has led to the creation of over 200 student or graduate founded startups and professional self-employed registrations. The Creative Enterprise Centre is undergoing an exciting rebrand and the Westminster Enterprise Network will launch at the start of the academic year.  Between 2021-23, the Centre aims to support 3000 unique students and graduates to develop enterprise skills and support 340 graduates to create new businesses.
The Senior Student Enterprise Manager will lead the growth of the University’s extra-curricular enterprise and entrepreneurship activities, working with students, alumni, colleagues, and external partners to build a dynamic and inclusive enterprise hub at the heart of the university.  You will manage a team of colleagues to develop and deliver events, workshops, 1-2-1 support services and start-up programmes that inspire our students and alumni to develop their skills and pursue their ambitions.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good understanding of entrepreneurship development, market trends, employer and student needs.  You will be organised, have proven experience of programme and people management, and the ability to build, maintain and manage long-term relationships with commercial and other partners. You will have proven experience working with and supporting entrepreneurs, professional freelancers, and early career professionals. You will have a commitment to providing high levels of customer service and stakeholder reporting and management.
The wide range of benefits, including an occupational pension scheme and a generous holiday allowance makes the University of Westminster a great place to work.
