9, 16, 23 May and 6, 27 June 2022 (17h-18.30h BST each day)
Our Writing Effective Cases workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to create your own valuable teaching cases.
Held over five synchronous sessions via Zoom, see www.thecasecentre.org/OnlineCWMay2022 for details
Led by two of our expert tutors, Martin Kupp and Urs Mueller, this workshop is ideal for those with little or no experience of writing cases, as well as more experienced case authors, who want to learn even more about the ‘tricks of the trade’, and spend some time working on their ideas in a structured process approach that is formed around the idea of rapid prototyping.
Participants will have the opportunity to take time out to develop an idea they already have, and form it into the first draft of a case and teaching note over the duration of the workshop.
- investigate what makes a good case and the benefits of a teaching note
- develop the confidence to write their own cases
- learn tools and techniques of case crafting to enhance the quality of the learning experience of their students
- prepare a draft case, teaching plan and teaching note with an action plan to finish the case study, and a committed deadline for completion.
Places on this workshop are limited so please see the link above to book your place.
