The Department of Management, in the College of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph is seeking an outstanding faculty member who will become the named John F. Wood Chair in Entrepreneurship. This position will be housed in the Department of Management and will contribute to the culture and programming of the John F. Wood Centre for Business and Student Enterprise.
The position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and developing courses in entrepreneurship and innovation. The successful applicant will carry out research that extends his or her existing strong publishing record in entrepreneurship. Responsibilities will also include assisting with the launch of academic programs in Entrepreneurship, supporting co-curricular seminars and workshops to inspire faculty and students in various aspects of entrepreneurship and innovation commercialization, mentoring students in curricular and co-curricular initiatives, and contributing to the academic responsibilities of the Wood Centre, the department, the college, and the university. The distribution of effort for this position is expected to be 40% teaching, 40% scholarship, and 20% service.
