The Way to Wellbeing: A multidimensional strategy for improving the wellbeing of the self-employed

New report from the Centre for Research on Self-Employment (CRSE) calls for an urgent focus on improving wellbeing of the self-employed.

A new report from the CRSE, The Way to Wellbeing, adopts a revolutionary new approach to exploring the impact self-employment has on wellbeing. Organised around the various life domains that affect overall life satisfaction, it sets out comprehensive and targeted recommendations aimed to improve policy and business practice and help enhance the wellbeing of the different self-employed groups.

The importance of evidence-based research for informing policy and practice will further be explored as part of ISBE’s newly introduced track on ‘Freelancing, Solo Self-Employment and Gig Economy Working’, which is devoted to the transformative effect this way of working has on careers, entrepreneurship and organisations.
