IoD Cambridgeshire BIG Debate | Women’s Networks – Do they really work?

Do Women’s Networks really work?

Many of us now have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of networks within our work environments, but do those created specifically for women serve a purpose?

Women’s networking groups have grown in popularity in recent years, and while this suggests there is a need for them, they do seem at odds with current trends around diversity in business.

Some female entrepreneurs say they can relate better to their female business peers. Others find women-only groups less intimidating than many of the larger male-dominated open networks. However in sticking to women only groups, are are they selling themselves and their businesses short?

Please join IoD Cambridgeshire in a joint event with ICAEW for another fascinating BIG debate. You will have the opportunity to voice and exchange opinions with like-minded business leaders.

Each panel member will give their point of view and thoughts on the topic, and you will get to hear their thoughts on why they agree or disagree.

The Chair of the debate will then direct questions from the floor to the individual panel members. Come along and join this exciting debate; perhaps you will leave with a changed mindset towards the topic.
