RAKE 2010 Research outcomes
The second rund of funding took place in 2010 and four winning bids were announced in September 2010.

The key theme for the call focused upon the contribution of entrepreneurial activity to regeneration as the UK began to demonstrate the first signs of renewed economic growth.

All projects have now been completed and the results were presented at a number of regional workshops throughout 2011 and 2012.

The four award holders from the 2010 RAKE Fund are:

Professor Colin Williams and Dr Sarah Nadin of Sheffield University and Aaron Barbour of Community Links with Making the transition from informal to formal enterprise: Barriers and policy solutions

Professor Nick Wilson, Dr Ali Altanlar, Dr Iain Clacher and Mr Gianluca Veronesi of Leeds University with An Analysis of UK Regional Development Agency Support on Company Value: Evidence from Yorkshire Forward
